XingFu

Before I forget, I should record this.

The Chinese word 'XingFu' should be defined as: happy, lucky, contented, and appreciated.

My friend, I know your memory lasted only until the moment you got out of the toilet. Mine wasn't much longer than yours. My memory lasted until the moment I got back into the taxi.
After taking you home, settling you onto the couch, I left.
I remember talking to the taxi driver about something, but I completely lost the memory of how I got out of the cab, how I got to the bathroom to wash up, and how I got into bed.
My memory stopped right there.

The next thing I knew, I was woken up by her, telling me that my phone's alarm was ringing.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and caught the bus I’m taking right now.

I am so happy, I am so lucky, I am so contented, I am so appreciated.

Without even knowing how I made it to bed, I woke up to find my T-shirt, trousers, and socks already laid out for me.

 I am so happy, I am so lucky, I am so contented, and I am so appreciated.
I am so 'XingFu'.

Sitting on the bus, I am going to take a quick nap.

Before I lose my memory again, I wanted to note this down.

Before the memory fades, I need to write this down.

The Chinese word 'XingFu' (幸福) is best defined as a blend of being happy, lucky, contented, and deeply appreciated.

To my friend: I know your memory cut out the moment you left the toilet. Mine didn't last much longer. My timeline ends the moment I stepped back into the taxi. I remember dropping you off, settling you onto the couch, and leaving.
I know I spoke to the driver, but everything after is a total blank—how I got out of the cab, how I washed up, how I got into bed.
Total blackout.

The next moment, she was waking me up because my phone alarm was buzzing. I washed up in a blur and caught the very bus I am sitting on now.

I am so happy, so lucky, so content, and so appreciated.

Despite having no idea how I got into bed, I woke up to find my T-shirt, trousers, and socks perfectly laid out for the day ahead.

I am so incredibly 'XingFu'.

Now, I’m going to catch a quick nap on this bus.
But before the sleep takes over, I had to write this down.
